Richmond Ford In The Community

Every year we donate time, money and our stores to charities and organizations we feel make the Richmond area a better place for our customers, neighbors, friends, and family. We believe health, safety, and education are necessary to advocate for, we have found organizations to support that believe that too.

Salute to Dealers

In 2015 Richmond Ford owner, Ron Kody, was a recipient of the prestigious Salute to Dealers award - this award is only given to six dealers every year around the world. He was recognized because of the extensive community service Richmond Ford is involved with between the two locations, Richmond Ford Lincoln and Richmond Ford West.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Since 2006 Richmond Ford Lincoln has been hosting the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital radiothon with K95. Every year our downtown store looks forward to this event.

In 2015, our efforts with St. Jude allowed us to add one very special little girl and her family to the Richmond Ford Family. Check out the video to see the reveal!

Walk to End Alzheimer's

The Richmond Area Walk to End Alzheimer's is a partnership we hold very close to our hearts here at Richmond Ford. Our owners, Ron and Jeanine Kody, have both lost parents to Alzheimer's, they know first-hand how much this disease can effect families.

Each year we look forward to growing our flower garden in front of Richmond Ford West to benefit the organization. On the day of the walk, you can find the Richmond Ford team walking to end Alzheimer's.

Susan G. Komen

Every year our dealerships go pink for Susan G. Komen! Richmond Ford Lincoln hosts the race packet pickup event and we have the pleasure of meeting all of the participants of Race for the Cure. Every test drive during our breast cancer campaign equals a donation to Susan G. Komen! In 2017, Richmond Ford West was able to giveaway a mustang! On race day look for our Richmond Ford tent for giveaways and cars decked out in pink!

Virginia Wildlife Foundation

We started our partnership with Virginia Wildlife foundation in 2016 in honor of owner, Ron Kody's, dad who passed away. We donate to them so they can sponsor grants in our community. While it is a new partnership, it's a growing one that we hope will help the youth in our community get outdoors.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)

Each year around the holidays we partner with Mothers Against Drunk Driving to encourage our community to drive safely. We host Henrico Police's press conference kicking off the campaign and participate in the yearly "Tie One on for Safety" campaign as a constant reminder to the community.
